Update on the Liquid Keratin Treatment

I know, I know I owed you guys an update on the Liquid Keratin Treatment days ago but life has been a little hectic. Did I mention I got almost a foot of snow on Monday, I mean they even got measurable snow in Atlanta and Alabama. Alright enough with the chitter chatter, I wet my hair to see what would happen and to give it some conditioning. Now I dont know about any reward winning hang time, but If I looked real hard and squinted my eye I might have seen something. I was really excited about adding in the conitioner since this is the first I got to use it since the treatment. Now its not a super duper conditioner or anything but my hair felt softer and it soaked it right on up. I decided against shampooing again since I didnt think there would be any benefit, I guess they figured I would need to shampoo by now. I dont have that kind of hair or scalp for that matter so I passed and did a cowash. Then came the leave-in, its in a spray bottle, not sure why, but I got over it as I felt how it glided on my hair. They tried to be funny and make the bottle longer, but the oz tell the story; its the same size as the conditioner and shampoo. I really like the leave-in though and it actually gives enough slip for detangling. Now what you’ve all been waiting for, how did it look wet? Well…. it was different. I didnt see anything drastic in my curl per se, but I definately noted a reduction in the frizz factor. It was smoother, but definately not a relaxed or even texturized look, not that I was expecting all that. The top did lay down a little better, but it would probably take someone familiar with my hair to be able to tell the difference. I put some twists in the front and they actually hung a little better, I was shocked since I didnt think much had happened. I kind of perked up after that, but the number one improvement I could see was the shine factor. My hair actually has shine, not just sheen, so i’m guessing this product has a way of laying down the cuticle. And look ma, no wax needed, lol. Since I just flat-ironed my hair I didnt straighten it again. My original plan was to rollerset but I didnt have sit under the dryer time and had to resort to a bun. I feel like my hair layed down better, and my edges were really smooth and stayed that way for the last couple of days. I’m happy, not elated, but happy! I added my pics from the initial treatment. Check out my Deals Page to get the link for a $10 off coupon. Comment and Subscribe, I got that from youtube, lol

Thanks for the review! I have been debating whether or not I want to purchase this. I am transitioning and I need some type of help to get me over the hump.
